Brigid Keenan was born in India, not-really-educated at various convents in Britain, before stumbling into journalism and becoming Young Fashion Editor of the Sunday Times 1961.   She worked for Nova and the Observer before marrying a diplomat and disappearing to live abroad.   She is author of the best-selling Diplomatic Baggage and its sequels (Packing Up, Full Marks for Trying) as well books on Kashmir, Damascus, and her original subject, fashion.
