"The Oldie is an incredible magazine - perhaps the best magazine in the world right now" Graydon Carter, founder of Air Mail and former Editor of Vanity Fair
Dafydd Jones has photographed debutante dances, Hunt Balls and the season for the Tatler, Hollywood and New York billionaires for Vanity Fair, and English social life for the Telegraph amongst others.. His work is held in the collections of the National Portrait Gallery, London. The Hyman Collection of British Photography and the Martin Parr Foundation. Having missed the texture and quality of traditional black and white prints he’s recently built a darkroom in an outbuilding at his home in East Sussex. He’s been printing boxed sets of his early work and and experimenting with making silver gelatin prints of digital pictures. His most recent prints are from the ‘ How We Live Now’ series that appears each month in the Oldie.
