New York keeps on climbing higher and higher

Hudson Yards is a mega development of several towers on a brownfield site on the west side of Manhattan - the largest mixed-use private real estate venture in American history. Seen here at dusk, it comprises several towers combining residences, office space, and high end retail. With a $25billion price tag for the sprawling development, it has essentially created a new neighbourhood. After recent looting emptied the shops of Soho and midtown, Hudson Yards was an obvious next target - and with that in mind, concrete barriers and chain link fences suddenly surrounded the structure. So far it remains untouched. The viewing deck - Edge - is the highest in the Western Hemisphere with a glass floor looking down 100 stories.
