The Oldie pin-up this week is model Jean Shrimpton at aged 82.

Known simply as 'The Shrimp', she became a household name. The Shrimp dated David Bailey and produced the most iconic fashion photographs with him, which are still timeless shots today.

Jean Rosemary Shrimpton was an icon of Swinging London and is considered to be one of the world's first supermodels.

She appeared on numerous magazine covers including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Elle, Ladies' Home Journal, Newsweek, and Time Magazine.

Shrimpton's other romances included actor Terence Stamp and photographer Terry O'Neill. In 1979, she married photographer Michael Cox in Cornwall, when she was four months pregnant with their son Thaddeus. They own the Abbey Hotel in Penzance, managed by their son.

We take our hats off to you Jean.
