Happy Birthday to Lady Antonia Fraser, Britain's most eminent historian, who turns 94 today.
Lady Antonia wrote her first book, King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, in 1954, when she was only 22. Her latest – The House that Spoke – the History of a Home - was about the Holland Park house she shared with her late husband, Harold Pinter. It came out last year.
The 71-year gap between her first and her latest book makes for an astonishing record. Her 40 history books and novels include her 1969 breakout hit, Mary, Queen of Scots.
